We’re just about ready to embark upon the final season of Mr. Robot, the Rami Malek-led USA series, and we’ve got a final season trailer.

After four seasons, Mr. Robot will finally be powering down and ending for good. While we’re incredibly sad to say goodbye to such an amazing show, we can’t help but be excited about the adventures waiting for us in the show’s fourth and final season.

USA just released a trailer for season 4 of Mr. Robot, and it looks like Malek’s character Elliot and the ever-mysterious Mr. Robot (Christian Slater) are taking things to a whole new level this season.

The final season of Mr. Robot is set around Christmas in 2015 with Malek and Slater’s characters still working hard to target the 1 percent. However, while their cause has always been a dangerous one, this season will take them places they never imagined. As Slater says in the trailer, “What you’re about to do is crossing a line.”

This season, Elliot is targeting the richest and most elite of the 1 percent. However, their digital Robin Hood-esque antics put them directly into the path of danger. With Whiterose (BD Wong) and the Dark Army closing in, Phillip Price (Michael Cristofer), and other shadowy organizations closing in, Elliot isn’t just crossing a line–he’s putting his life on the line in a big way.

Beyond that, life is about to get very interesting for Elliot as he attempts to undo the damage done from the Five/Nine Hack. Even more interesting, while Mr. Robot and Elliot typically found themselves at odds, according to what Sam Esmail told The Hollywood Reporter, the two are finally starting to get on the same page.

“Whenever I talk about Elliot’s emotional journey, it really is about this relationship with Mr. Robot, that needs to face its reckoning at some point. The ending of [season three] pivots them to working together as a team for the first time in a genuine way. There’s this realization that they are pieces of one whole, and it’s something we haven’t quite seen before, especially given the tumultuous relationship they had together in season two, and then here in season three when they didn’t speak with each other for basically the entire season. We’ve now finally brought them to a point where they can work together as a team — and dare I even say, integrate.”

This season is going to be amazing, and it looks like things aren’t even close to slowing down in the show’s final adventure in season 4. You can catch the final season of Mr. Robot when it premieres on the USA Network on October 6.
