Previews of highly-anticipated summer films The Lone Ranger, The Internship, and Kick-Ass 2 have dropped in the past 24 hours, and Joss Whedon has made interesting remarks about The Avengers sequel.

‘The Internship’ trailer #2

Starring Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson, The Internship looks like an ad for Google when looking at promotional material. The two comedic actors’ characters are “salesmen whose careers have been torpedoed by the digital world,” reads the official synopsis. “Trying to prove they are not obsolete, they defy the odds by talking their way into a coveted internship at Google, along with a battalion of brilliant college students.”

The first clip from Kick-Ass 2 has arrived. In it we see a stand off between Hit Girl (Chloe Moretz), Kick-Ass (Aaron-Taylor Johnson), and The Mother F***er (Christopher Mintz-Plasse). They are surrounded by an odd ball group of heroes who have problems of their own:

‘The Lone Ranger’ trailer

A new trailer for The Lone Ranger premiered at Disney’s CinemaCon panel in Las Vegas. It was immediately shared online. The film stars Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer. On Tuesday a few great character posters were unveiled.

‘The Avengers 2’

Finally, The Avengers mastermind Joss Whedon has shared interesting details about what’s ahead for the sequel, which is due out May 1, 2015. He says in a new interview with Entertainment Tonight that filming should begin in February, and that he had an idea in his head for the film before even starting the first movie. “I didn’t think I was gonna do the second one, but I had an idea for it before I had figured out the first one. You go into a movie not assuming that there’s going to be [another one]. I’ve seen plenty of movies that were the first part of the trilogy that never happened and it’s terrible. You don’t save anything for the trip back. Having said that, though, I did sort of know, ‘Well if they were to come back, I know what’s going to happen… it’s going to be awful.’”

As usual, Whedon leaves us laughing.
