A source who would know of an upcoming Breaking Dawn trailer has said that one will debut next month. This news comes weeks after other rumors suggested a trailer in the same time frame.
The Twilight Examiner points to Sérgio Sá Leitão, who’s production company assisted Summit in filming scenes for the film in Rio. He tweeted:
“I noticed today that the first trailer for Dawn has four spectacular shots filmed in Rio. It will air on MTV Movie Awards.”
The MTV Movie Awards he’s referring to take place on June 15th, and good Twilight fans know that promo material from the franchise has premiered there before.
It’s a good time for the trailer to be premiered because it is five months before the release of the film and several actors will be at the event to pick up awards. Summit will make an official announcement prior to the event if they are indeed releasing a trailer. We’ll keep you updated!
