Jacob Latimore and Alexander Flores have just snatched two roles for the upcoming Maze Runner movie.
In an article from Variety, we’ve learned today that Jacob Latimore has joined the cast of The Maze Runner. At this time, details are scarce, and we don’t know who the young actor will be playing. However, we did manage to learn from the actor’s IMDb page that the young performer is 17 years old and multitalented in nature – investing some of his time into a music career. Despite these detail-lacking announcements, excitement builds as one more character falls into place.
Through other more subversive means, we have discovered that Alexander Flores will be taking on the role of Winston. We came across this information earlier in the week when fellow cast mate Aml Ameen shared a very domestic picture of some of the newly cast Gladers with a caption that introduced the actor to us all:
“Just cooked dinner for the #mazerunner lads. Meet Alex aka Winston.”
Alex (aka Winston) is professionally known as Alexander Flores. The actor has a handful of movies listed on his IMDb page, yet no official tie to The Maze Runner movie has been released. Hopefully we will have official word soon, but we can’t imagine that circumstances will change if Flores has been introduced online and has begun living along side his castmates.
Also seen in the picture is Ki Hong Lee, who we know will be playing Minho in the movie adaptation. Aml shared another picture on his Instagram earlier in the week when he and Lee met in Louisiana for the first time:

It’s hard to not get excited as new details about the movie continue to unfold. Especially when you see the cast bonding and enjoying each others company so early in the game!
