Sony just dropped a bunch of release dates including the highly anticipated Morbius and the new Ghostbusters.

Next summer is going to be a good one. According to Deadline’s report, that’s when we can expect to see the Jared Leto-starring Spider-Man spinoff, Morbius, and Jason Reitman’s Ghostbusters movie. They will premiere on July 10, 2020 and July 31, 2020, respectively.

Interestingly, the studio is also holding a place for another Marvel movie on October 2, 2020. Based on their current running properties, that will probably be the Venom sequel. Two Spider-Man villain movies in one year? Yes please! Venom was so fun that we can’t wait to see what they do with Morbius. Especially with Jared Leto at the helm.

Nobody really asked for another Ghostbusters movie, but since it’s coming from the original director’s son, we’ll give it a chance. It’s more of a sequel than a re-boot, as the Paul Feig and Kristen Wiig venture was. The new Ghostbusters won’t tie into that movie at all, but will follow the original story.

Deadline also reports that Sony shifted some other dates around when they announced these two releases. Greyhound will now premiere on May 8, 2020 (originally March 2019) and A Beautiful Day in the Neighbourhood, the Mister Rogers film, will now premiere on November 22, 2019 (originally October 2019).
