If the first Monsters University trailers led you to believe that the prestigious school is all about studying and professionalism, this latest look will knock down your expectations.

The new Monsters University trailer titled “It All Began Here” shows “the original party monsters” around campus enjoying some time off from all of the hard hours they put into their scaring major.

While some of the footage has been seen in past promos, today’s trailer has a couple new shots including one scene where we see the school’s miserable old librarian and general mayhem around campus. We’re also treated to a new song called “Roar” by Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso of the Swedish House Mafia. It will be available on the Monsters University soundtrack.

Even without all-new footage, this fresh look is a fun watch thanks to some great one-liners that play into Pixar’s witty sense of humor.

Monsters University welcomes the return of Mike and Sulley (voiced by Billy Crystal and John Goodman) in what is a prequel to the 2001 Pixar film Monsters, Inc. The movie opens in theaters on June 21. Hypable attended the film’s press day this past weekend where we spoke to the two lead stars. We’ll have interviews from the event online next week!

One of the best aspects of Monsters, Inc. was the chemistry between Mike and Sulley. It was all thanks to the real life chemistry between their human actors Crystal and Goodman. We’re sure Pixar took full advantage of the remarkable relationship between the two actors.
