Disney Pixar has released the final Monsters University trailer ahead of the movie’s June 21 opening, and this one offers a boat load of new footage.

Not only do we see little Mike (adorable!), we also get a better idea of the film’s storyline: Mike is trying to figure out what he wants to do with his life. Sulley and Mike are not friends when they meet at Monsters University, and Sulley goes so far as to offer some pretty mean opinions about his future friend’s scaring prospects.

As the trailer progresses we see Mike decide if he wants to become a scarer and then tries to make it happen. Watch below:

Another fun fact about the trailer: When we see little Mike, he’s on a class trip to Monsters, Inc.’s scare floor which features heavily in the 2001 Pixar film of the same name. In an interview with Hypable which we’re releasing next week, you’ll hear from Mike voice actor Billy Crystal as he explains this scene in more detail.

We’re thrilled that Disney saved the best trailer for last. It’s packed with heart and a nice look at how Mike and Sulley’s friendship suffered in the early days when they were just college students. Thanks to this trailer, we’re more excited than ever to watch the movie in theaters this June.

Monsters University stars Billy Crystal as Mike, John Goodman as Sulley, and Steve Buscemi as Randall.
