Pixar has released two brand new teaser posters for Monsters University, their upcoming sequel to Monsters, Inc.
Though still six months away from release, the first footage from the film recently was screened at the University of Southern California, and now with these teaser posters a full-length trailer is probably not far of.
In the meantime, enjoy the two posters below:
Monsters University is “a look at the relationship between Mike and Sulley during their days at the University of Fear — when they weren’t necessarily the best of friends.”
For further explanation of the plot, details from the USC footage explain a little more on what we can expect:
After being kicked out of the scarer program at Monsters University, Mike and Sulley realize they must set aside their rivalry and work together if they’re both going to get back into the scarer program. The only way to do this is to join a fraternity, which in their case is Oozma Kappa, and eventually compete in The Scare Games. Alas, this “OK” frat is far from OK. In a nod to underdog flicks such as Revenge of the Nerds and The House Bunny, Mike and Sulley quickly discover that their frat is for the very, very uncool kids.
If you still haven’t seen it, a teaser trailer was released back in June. The film is set for a June 21, 2013 release date.
