A new teaser trailer for Disney Pixar’s Monsters University premiered during the Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards last night and was obviously designed to appeal to the excitable kiddy crowd.

This television commercial for the Monsters, Inc. prequel is non-stop fun. We see dancing and general mayhem occurring around the school’s campus for the full thirty seconds.

“When it’s time to party, we will party hard,” a robot voice promises following a new clip of Mike (voiced by Billy Crystal) announcing he’s officially a college student. Watch below:

In recent weeks, Pixar has released several promos including viral campaigns that sell the school rather than the movie. There was also a Japanese trailer which (unintentionally?) revealed a major plot spoiler. The spoiler is so big, one of Pixar’s own staff members was surprised by the revelation.

Monsters University follows Mike and Sulley (John Goodman) in their college years and their journey to becoming best friends. Disney Pixar’s latest opens in theaters June 21, 2013. It is their first film since the release of Brave last year which received mixed reviews from critics and viewers alike.

Disney also used the Kids Choice Awards to unveil a new commercial for their upcoming Marvel film Iron Man 3. Like this Monsters University TV spot, the Iron Man 3 preview includes a couple of new clips.
