We’ve yet to see much from Disney Pixar’s upcoming Monsters, Inc. prequel Monsters University (due out in June 2013), but this new character art featuring Young Mike and Sulley should tie you over.

This artwork offers new looks at the two lead characters and friends in their college years when they attended, yes, Monsters University.

We’re also introduced to new characters Don, Squishy, and Squishy’s Mom. If we were to guess, Squishy looks like an overzealous freshman while his mom is one of those types that babies their son. As for Don, we assume he’s Squishy’s Dad.

With the release of Disney’s newest animated film Wreck-it Ralph hitting theaters this Friday, it’s possible that a new trailer for Monsters University will be attached. This information has not yet been confirmed or even hinted at by Disney.

Earlier this month Pixar released a real site for Monsters University, the institution, which provides great details on what you can expect if you enroll. There’s even a merchandise store where you can actually buy Monsters University t-shirts. It’s just one preview of the work Pixar put into making this school feel as legitimate as possible.

Monsters University will open in the United States on June 21 in 2D and 3D.
