Modern Family season 5, episode 4 “Farm Strong” just finished airing on ABC. Now you can read our recap and discuss the story line with fellow fans.

Here are the highlights from Modern Family season 5, episode 4 “Farm Strong”:

• Phil and Claire try and think of a way to get out of going to Luke’s soccer game so they can catch up on household work.
• Cam starts freaking out that his sister Pam will find out about their wedding. He thinks that because she’s older than him and still single she can’t handle the news.
• Jay is convinced that Gloria needs glasses but instead of going to the eye doctor, Gloria heads to the nail salon!
• Pam finds some wedding items in the house and gets excited for the two, and finally feels comfortable announcing she’s engaged to his high school crush! To no one’s surprise Cam ends up being the one upset.
• Claire gets annoyed when she runs out of errands and has to go to the soccer game. But when she arrives, Luke is kicking butt at the game.
• In order to prove that Gloria needs glasses, Jay pretends that he’s swallowed rat poison and needs Gloria to read the emergency instructions, which only makes her more mad at Jay.
• Pam overhears Cam saying that Bo is only interested in his sister for her inheritance and gets upset (to put it mildly). Apparently, she takes it a step too far when she tells Cam that he isn’t farm strong.
• When Luke downplays how well he did at the game so Phil doesn’t feel bad, Claire feels even worse for having gone.
• To prove that he’s not overly sensitive, Cam has everyone tell him the stuff they’ve been keeping from him. Cam gets embarrassed to find out that he is actually sensitive. Pam makes him feel better by saying that he’s also an over-celebrator.
• Gloria admits to Jay that she’s sensitive about her eyesight because it makes her feel old around the mothers in baby Joe’s class.
