As the film gears up for its big presentation at San Diego Comic-Con next week, a new still from Mockingjay, Part 2 reminds us of the battle that lies ahead.
A new photo from The Hunger Games finale depicts Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and Effie (Elizabeth Banks) as they prepare for one of the Girl on Fire’s appearances in front of Panem.
Effie’s dress looks like one of her best. Based on what we saw in the first (amazing) Mockingjay, Part 2 trailer last month, this scene looks like it takes place before Katniss steps out into the Capitol with the people of Panem walking in unison behind her.

Is that trailer not enough for you? Good news: A new trailer is rumored to be debuting at San Diego Comic-Con next week! While it’s not clear when it’ll make its way online, we do suspect it’ll be released publicly at some point. Lionsgate unveiled a new trailer for Catching Fire at 2013’s SDCC and released it online immediately afterward.
It’s been less than a month since Lionsgate released the first Mockingjay trailer, so it’s possible they may wait a few weeks before releasing the Comic-Con trailer online. If that’s the case, there will be lots of descriptions of the trailer from Comic-Con attendees for you to read over and over again.
Jennifer Lawrence (Katniss), Josh Hutcherson (Peeta), Liam Hemsworth (Gale), Willow Shields (Prim), director Francis Lawrence, and producer Nina Jacobsen will be at Comic-Con next week to host a Mockingjay, Part 2 panel for fans. They’ll also be participating in a press conference which Hypable will be attending.
