Was your head steady enough at the end of Catching Fire to catch a glimpse of what may very well become Mockingjay’s promotional logo?

At the very end of the film as Katniss’s face grew a look of anticipation, rage, determination, and rebellion, the Mockingjay bird morphed from its Hunger Games to Catching Fire to Mockingjay posture.

A fan on Tumblr took that visual moment and turned it into a Mockingjay movie poster, and we have to think this is a very good guess at what the final promotional material will look like:

“If we burn, you burn with us,” the fan made poster’s tagline reads. The quote is from Katniss early on in the third and final book in Suzanne Collins’ trilogy.

Earlier today we shared an interview with Jennifer Lawrence during which she talks about Mockingjay scenes they’ve shot so far.

We’re very eager to see how Mockingjay, part 1 and Mockingjay, part 2 are marketed from a visual standpoint. They should stand out separately, but the two obviously have very similar story lines. With Catching Fire now out of the way, you can bet we’re going to be paging through our Mockingjay books to see where the final tome can be split.

Mockingjay parts 1 and 2 arrive in theaters November 2014 and November 2015 respectively. We’re only a year away from the first movie, so promotional material can’t be too far off from seeing the light of day!
