A new clip has been released from The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1 and depicts the start of Peeta and Caesar’s first interview.

The scene happens early in the Mockingjay book by Suzanne Collins and is a big moment for Katniss because she realizes that her man is still breathing.

While we’ve seen bits and pieces of this scene before in trailers and other promos, what’s notable about this clip is that we can hear Peeta stutter at one point – a possible side effect of what’s happened to him while in the Capitol? Or is this a problem with the transmission from the Capitol into District 13? Fix it, Beetee!

“First off you have to understand that when you’re in the Games, you only get one wish. It’s very costly,” the boy with the bread begins to explain to the Capitol’s television personality.

Watch the Mockingjay clip below:

The first clip from Mockingjay, released in mid-October, depicts Katniss returning to District 12 for the first time since it was destroyed by the Capitol. This scene also happened very early on in the book.

Mockingjay, Part 1 opens in theaters November 21. Tickets are on sale now with many screenings beginning as early as 8 p.m. local time on Thursday, November 20. Grab your tickets and watch the final trailer!

Since only two clips have been released, we expect several more to surface in the next week or two. Buckle in! … Unless you’re one of those people who really doesn’t want to be overexposed to marketing material before the movie opens.

By the way: The photo at the top of this article is a new still. Is this Katniss doing a test shoot for the cameras? She looks like she’s got a decent amount of make up on in this scene.
