Mission: Impossible 7 is rounding out its cast with a few more familiar faces!

Actors Cary Elwes (The Princess Bride, Stranger Things), Indira Varma (Game of Thrones), Rob Delaney (Catastrophe), Charles Parnell (The Last Ship), and Mark Gatiss (Sherlock), have all signed on to appear in the upcoming next installment of the Mission: Impossible franchise.

Mission: Impossible 7 director Christopher McQuarrie was the one to break the news. The helmer took to his Instagram on Thursday (March 11) to share today’s big casting news with fans far and wide.

McQuarrie was quite mysterious with the casting announcements, merely posting photos of actors in question with the hashtag “#MI7MI8.”

In the caption of Elwes’ photo— the last of the set— McQuarrie added, “Welcome to The Community.”

Other than that, neither the director nor the studio offered up much more to go on with regards to who each of the new cast members will be playing. That being said, McQuarrie’s decision to include both “MI7” and “MI8” in the hashtags of the posts have many speculating that we’ll be seeing their characters play a role across the next two installments of the hit action franchise.

Elwes, Varma, Delaney, Parnell, and Gatiss join previously announced cast members Pom Klementieff, Hayley Atwell, Shea Whigham, and Esai Morales, all of whom also recently joined the cast of Mission: Impossible 7.

Meanwhile, Vanessa Kirby, Rebecca Ferguson, Simon Pegg, Angela Bassett, Ving Rhames, and Henry Czerny, are all also on board to return to reprise their roles along with franchise star, Tom Cruise.

Mission: Impossible 7 and Mission: Impossible 8 are expected to hit theaters in November 2021, and in November 2022, respectively.
