The Mindy Project season 2, episode 5 “Wiener Night” just finished airing on Fox. Now you can read our recap and discuss the story line with fellow fans.

Here are the highlights from The Mindy Project season 2, episode 5 “Wiener Night”:

• Mindy freaks out on her flight home because her TV isn’t working. And hopes that whoever is sitting next to her could be her soul mate. She ends up hitting it off with Jason – the journalist – and they share his TV.
• When Mindy tells the guys at the office about her date with Jason, Jeremy tells her that she has nothing in common with the journalist.
• When Mindy and Jason go to the movies, it’s clear they have different tastes and she’s bored by his selection. Mindy is shocked when Jason tells her he doesn’t see their relationship going anywhere because they don’t have anything in common.
• Peter hears about Christina’s art exhibit that shows Danny nude and announces it to the office. They all agree to go and see it while Danny is mortified and tries to talk them out of it.
• Mindy decides to invite Jason to the exhibit to prove that he’s not better than her. Danny invites a guest of his own – Cliff the attorney to see if he can sue Christina.
• While Jeremy, Morgan, and Peter laugh at Danny’s portraits – Mindy freaks out. Cliff is worried that Danny is drinking too much. He says there’s nothing he can do to stop the show but says Danny might be able to if the portraits become visible to the public.
• Mindy tries really hard to impress Jason but only succeeds in proving she isn’t really into art. She does however, come to the defense of Danny and tells everyone off for viewing his portraits when they are just a way for Christina to get back at him.
• Danny feels down about everyone seeing him naked but Mindy cheers him up. He feels even better when a random women compliments him on the portraits.
• After taking off from the art show, Jason waits at Mindy’s apartment for her. He apologizes for being rude to her and sings her a Katy Perry song – effectively winning her over.
