Rejoice Happy Endings fans, Adam Pally has been bumped up to a series regular on The Mindy Project after starting out in a recurring role.
Pally has officially found a new home on The Mindy Project The Hollywood Reporter announced yesterday.
Originally Pally was booked for a recurring role as a new ob-gyn in the practice after James Franco’s character, Dr. Leotard, exits. It must have been a good fit because fans won’t see Pally portraying Peter Prentiss on The Mindy Project until October 1 in episode 3. Not much is known about Pally’s character, but we’re guessing there will be friction in the office with all the changes going on!
In the same episode Pally makes his debut, Mindy and her co-works go to a music festival to see Casey try his hand as being a disk jockey. However, they weren’t expecting there to be drugs involved at the music festival which will lead to trouble.
While everyone is away at the festival, Jeremy hires Peter (played by Pally). Mindy quickly forms a bad opinion of the new doctors when he saves the day during an emergency delivery!
