Fox announced today that their new comedies The Mindy Project and Ben and Kate have been given full season orders.

“Ben and Kate and The Mindy Project have everything we want to stand for in comedy: smart writing, hugely appealing casts and comedy that feels contemporary and real – which is why we’re confident they will continue to build on what is already an appointment comedy night for young, influential audiences on Tuesdays,” said Fox’s Kevin Reilly, Chairman of Entertainment.

Ben and Kate is written by Dana Fox and stars Nat Faxon and Dakota Johnson respectively. A new episode titled “The Fox Hunt” airs tomorrow at 8:30 PM ET/PT and sees Ben discovering an unopened envelope from 15 years ago that contains the yearly scavenger hunt their dad used to organize for them when they were kids.

The Mindy Project was created by and stars Mindy Kaling who’s best known for her role on NBC’s The Office. Tomorrow’s episode follows Shauna (played by Amanda Setton) taking the office to the hottest nightclub in town where Mindy meets an unlikely suitor who works as a lawyer for the New York Knicks.

Have you tried either of these new fall shows, and will you stick with them through the rest of the season? We’ve personally been enjoying The Mindy Project but can’t say the same for Ben and Kate.
