A new Miley Cyrus album titled Plastic Hearts is on the horizon— and it’s coming sooner than you might think!

Miley Cyrus fans rejoice! The singer has finally revealed some incredibly exciting information with regards to her seventh studio album.

The pop star took to Twitter late on Thursday (October 22) night to announce that her seventh studio album would officially be titled Plastic Hearts. In addition, Cyrus also revealed that she plans to drop the record in late November, which means fans will only have a few more weeks left to wait before they can give the record a spin.

In a heartfelt letter to fans posted to Twitter, Cyrus shared some insight with regards to Plastic Hearts, in which she reveals that the first version of what should have been her seventh album was actually lost with her house in a fire.

“My collaborators still had most of the music that was burned up in journals/computers filled with songs for the EP series I was working on at the time,” writes Cyrus. “But it never felt right to release ‘my story’…with a huge chapter missing.”

In addition to the lengthy letter to fans, Cyrus also shared the official album artwork for the record, which was shot by Mick Rock. Rock has worked with the likes of Madonna, Joan Jett, Freddie Mercury, and David Bowie.

Cyrus has been teasing new music off and on over the course of the past few months, so it’s exciting to learn that we won’t have to wait much longer to see what she’s been cooking up in the studio!

Plastic Hearts, the seventh studio album by Miley Cyrus, drops November 27, 2020.
