SNL has setup an exciting start to season 41 when Miley Cyrus, Amy Schumer and alum Tracy Morgan kick off the first couple of episodes.

In a press release sent by NBC today, it was announced that Miley Cyrus will host the season premiere of SNL when it returns for its 41st season on October 3. This will be Miley’s third time hosting the late night comedy show. There was no word whether she will double as the musical guest as well. Miley Cyrus will host the MTV Video Music Awards on August 30.

The following week on October 10, the summer’s hottest comedian Amy Schumer will host SNL for the first time. Schumer is coming off of her box office hit Trainwreck in which she hosted and starred. Schumer’s upcoming comedy special Amy Schumer: Live from the Apollo premieres October 17.

Finally, beloved SNL alum and star of 30 Rock Tracy Morgan will return to Studio 8H to host for his second time as a host on October 17. This will mark a return to the spotlight for Morgan after he survived a near-fatal car accident in 2014.

There have been no major updates as to any casting changes for SNL’s season 41. Usually by this time every year we have heard of who is coming, who is going and who got lucky enough to stay. However,there is still a lot of time between now and the season premiere.
