Microsoft buys an interesting domain name, a new Gen. VI Pokémon is revealed, and Peach is confirmed for Super Smash Bros. 4 in today’s video game new roundup.

The strange domain is www.Xbone.com, in reference to what many are calling Microsoft’s Xbox One shorthand.

Oddly enough, the domain name was first purchased in March 2000, although by whom, it isn’t clear. A programmer for Xbox Live, Major Nelson, recently said of the Xbone nickname, “It disrespects the teams that have put thousands of hours (already) into the development of the product.”

Nelson continued, “Sure, it’s cheeky, but I don’t care for it myself.” The Xbox One was revealed to be released in the U.S.A, Australia, Canada and many other countries worldwide on November 22.

The latest addition to the Gen. VI Pokémon crew is an evolution for the previously announced Fire-type Litleo, Pyroar.

IGN.com exclusively revealed the new creature, who has “a great mane of burning flames” and can have either Rivalry or Unnerve abilities.

Pyroar will learn a new move called Echoed Voice, which “makes its power grow with every turn. Its power will increase even if other Pokémon use it, so try Echoed Voice out with your allies in Double Battles and Triple Battles to experience its real value.”

The first screenshots of Pyroar in battle are below.

Pokémon X and Y release worldwide for the Nintendo 3DS on October 12.

Lastly, Mario’s sometimes damsel in distress Peach was confirmed for both Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Super Smash Bros. for 3DS.

The addition of Peach was expected, as she was in the roster for the past two iterations of the Nintendo brawler.
