Rumors suggest Microsoft could be prepping a $99 Xbox 360 + Kinect bundle that would be subsidized by a subscription fee.

According to Polygon, Microsoft could offer the bundle with a monthly subscription fee of $15.

The two-year subscription will reportedly allow users access to the Xbox Live Gold service and possibly some additional streaming content as well as coverage under a two-year warranty.

The bundle could hit shelves as early as next week, according to the report.

Two years of the subscription fee in addition to the $99 console would add up to a total cost of $459 compared to the roughly $420 that it would cost you to buy the bundle now and purchase two years of Xbox Live.
