Pose star Michaela Jaé Rodriguez is gearing up to share the small screen with Maya Rudolph.

According to Deadline, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez has officially signed on to star opposite Maya Rudolph in a brand new comedy series coming down the pipeline at Apple TV+.

Hailing from Emmy Award winners Alan Yang and Matt Hubbard, the untitled series centers on Molly— a woman who finds her life flipped upside down after her husband leaves her with nothing but a fortune of $87 billion.

Rudolph will take on the role of the newly single billionaire, Molly. As for Rodriguez, the Pose star will take on the role of Sofia. Described as hard working, Sofia works as an executive director at the non-profit funded by Molly.

In addition to starring in the untitled Apple TV+ original series, Maya Rudolph is also set to serve as an executive producer on the project along with Yang and Hubbard.

Rudolph will be producing alongside Natasha Lyonne through their Animal Pictures banner. In addition, Danielle Renfrew and Dave Becky will also serve as executive producers on the half hour comedy series.

Apple TV+ has yet to announce when we can expect the comedy series to debut.

As for Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, fans can catch her next reprising her role as Blanca in the third and final season of FX’s critically acclaimed series, Pose.
