How I Met Your Mother season 9, episode 3 “The Broken Code” airs on CBS tonight at 8 p.m. ET.
The saga of Barney and Robin’s wedding weekend continues tonight at 8 p.m. on CBS with a turning point in Barney and his best man Ted’s relationship.
The end of last week’s episode saw Ted attempting to have a drink with the groom only for Barney to abruptly reveal that he saw Ted at the carousel with Robin, revealing that he still has feelings for her.
Marshall, still on his cross-country trip to Farhampton, will be Skyping in to act as judge for Barney and Ted’s argument. It’s nice to see Marshall getting in some practice for his future judicial career, but finding wi-fi or a strong enough cell signal on the road may prove difficult.
Meanwhile, Lily will come to the realization that she is Robin’s only girl friend.
The episode’s title “The Broken Code” is likely a clever play on the “Bro Code” that Barney and his bros hold so dear, of which Ted is clearly in violation.
