Merlin is very near to the end now, and things are heating up in Camelot! Watch the promo for the penultimate (ish) episode “The Drawing of the Dark” here.

Although there are three more episodes left of Merlin, the last two episodes are technically a two-parter, airing on December 22 and 24.

Therefore, you can consider 5×11 “The Drawing of the Dark” as the last bit of calm before the storm – which doesn’t seem like it’ll be calm at all!

After tonight’s “The Kindness of Strangers” episode, it seems like it’s time for Mordred to turn to the dark side. In “The Drawing of the Dark,” a troubled Mordred will struggle to choose between his loyalty to the king and his love for a girl named Kara (who we can see in the promo and the promotional images).

“He’s beguiled you, he’s beguiled you all”

“I can’t believe you’d say that”

“Your secret is safe with me. You **** ** ****”

“Please, I mean you no harm”

“In your words, I hear the ***** of *******”

“She has always lived inside my heart”

“I’d never let something like this ruin our friendship”

“Tell me you wouldn’t do the same, for the woman you love”

“We will leave Camelot and never return.”

“How will one more death bring about the peace we long for”

Merlin 5×11 “The Drawing of the Dark” will air next Saturday at 20:15 GMT on BBC One.
