Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone are already a dream team, both at home and in the proverbial office, and now they’re teaming up for a new TV show for Fox.

At this point, no one can argue that Melissa McCarthy isn’t a household name. Between her early days on Gilmore Girls, her more recent films Spy and The Boss, and box-office hits like Bridesmaids and The Heat, she’s got comedy chops and the successes to prove it.

Her husband is a little less well-known, though perhaps that’s by design. He tends to have smaller roles in his wife’s movies (like “Blue Collar Man” in The Heat or “American Tourist” in Spy), but he’s also behind the scenes as a writer and director (like for The Boss and Tammy).

Now, the duo is teaming up again to bring a half-hour comedy to Fox, according to The Wrap.

Warner Bros. Television is having McCarthy and Falcone work together on an as-yet unnamed single-camera sitcom. The studio gave them a script development deal and Jim Cashman and Mitch Silpa will co-executive produce the project.

The pitch is as follows: “An unconventional family is formed when a successful type-A man and his estranged sister, plus her two children, find themselves not only back in each other’s lives but also living under one roof.”

Falcone is executive producing alongside his wife, and though it’s likely, it’s currently unclear whether McCarthy will star. The estranged sister character certainly sounds like it’s right up her alley, though.

McCarthy just finished up her role as Abby on Ghostbusters: Answer the Call and is returning to the big screen for her next project, Life of the Party, which will see her once again working alongside her husband.

You can next see McCarthy as Sookie St. James in the Netflix revival of Gilmore Girls, which will hit the streaming service on November 25.
