Mega Man was revealed to be the first big Super Smash Bros. 4 character in the first footage shown of the game today!

Super Smash Bros. 4‘s first footage premiered at today’s E3 2013 Nintendo Direct.

The game will add the Capcom hero Mega Man into the beefy roster of Smash Bros. characters.

Another new character added to Super Smash Bros. 4 is Villager from the Animal Crossing Series. The Villager will us his net to fight against classic Nintendo characters, such as Mario, Samus, and Kirby.

The game will be released on the Wii U and 3DS sometime in 2014.

The footage was teased a few days ago when game developer Sora Sakurai tweeted out that fans should tune into today’s Nintendo Direct to see the first footage of Super Smash Bros. 4.

Players will be comforted to know that characters like Mario, Samus, Kirby, and Pikachu will make a return to Super Smash Bros. 4.

Super Smash Bros. 4 releases for the Wii U and 3DS sometime in 2014.

Although the large first party E3 press conferences are nearly over, E3 is not.

Tonight at 9 PM EST, Nintendo will have a Pokémon X and Pokémon Y press conference, where they will be revealing more details about the recently announced sixth gen of the series.
