Deadpool 2 just released a new teaser trailer, and it gives us a closer look into Josh Brolin’s character, Cable.

We’ve been waiting for another look into Deadpool 2 for what feels like an eternity. Our hopes for a Super Bowl trailer release didn’t come to fruition, and rumors swirled that we’d have to wait until Valentine’s Day at the earliest to get a new trailer for the film

And while that might very well be the date of a full-length trailer drop, 20th Century Fox has just blessed us with another look into Deadpool 2. And true to Deadpool form, the trailer is a bit goofy, but gives us a bit of a closer look at Cable.

Okay, so maybe a significant portion of the trailer features Deadpool playing with Cable and Deadpool action figure, but this is still the most significant look we’ve had into the film. We to spend some quality time with Cable and learn who he is while also getting a few brief glimpses into his motivation.

And while we get the most in-depth look at Cable we’ve had so far, the teaser also gives us quick looks into other characters. We get to see a few shots Zazie Beetz kicking ass as Domino, but we also check in with some of our old friends like Brianna Hildebrand as the amazing Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, and of course, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al.

This new look into Deadpool 2 makes it look like the sequel will be just as fun and just as outrageous as the first Deadpool. We can’t wait to get a longer look at the film in a full-length trailer, but this teaser will definitely do for now! Deadpool 2 hits theaters on May 18, 2018, so get ready!
