Electronic Arts has officially unveiled the next entry in the Medal of Honor series dubbed Warfighter.
According to the latest issue of Official Xbox Magazine, the sequel to 2010’s reboot will be developed fully by Danger Close Studios. Battlefield developer Dice handled the multiplayer portion in the previous game.
Speaking of Battlefield, Medal of Honor will use the Frostbite 2 engine, the same one Battlefield 3 was powered by.
The game is set to release in October of this year.
EA will reportedly have more on the game at the Game Developer’s Conference a few weeks from now.
