The Maze Runner has announced an official movie companion and a special edition re-release of the James Dashner novel that started it all.
Random House announced today that two special edition books surrounding the Maze Runner series would be released August 5 of this year.
The Maze Runner movie tie-in is a re-release of the original James Dasher novel that created the world of the Glade and launched the ever growing franchise. This special edition includes an eight page color insert with images from the film, as well as an exclusive fan sticker paired with each purchased book. In addition to those elements, the novel will also be getting an updated cover with the Maze Runner movie poster displayed on front.
The second book set for release is titled Inside The Maze Runner: The Guide to The Glade. As the official movie companion to the film, it will have 100 full-color photographs, profiles of each of the Gladers, and extensive details about the Maze and more. The motion picture adaptation is set for release September 19. Which gives fans just enough time to pour over these new releases and share them with their friends! You can preorder both movie tie-ins wherever books are sold.
