NBC has announced the air date for Maya Rudolph’s variety show special which will include a slew of guest stars.

The Maya Rudolph Show will air Monday, May 19 at 10 p.m. eastern/pacific on NBC, according to a press release sent out this afternoon.

Rudolph is best known for her time on Saturday Night Live as well as films like Bridesmaids and The Way Way Back.

The actress will be visited by guest stars who are friends of the network. Andy Samberg (former SNL cast member and Brooklyn Nine-Nine star), Kristen Bell (Veronica Mars), Fred Armisen (Portlandia, Late Night with Seth Meyers), Chris Parnell (Archer), Craig Robinson (Mr. Robinson) and Sean Hayes (Hollywood Game Night), are all set to appear.

In addition, singer Janelle Monae will serve as musical guest. R&B singer-producer Raphael Saadiq will be the bandleader during the show.

The Maya Rudolph Show is a one-time variety event airing on NBC, but if it’s successful we imagine Rudolph would turn this into a more regular event.

Given the slew of men who helm late night comedy programming for the various networks, Rudolph should be a breath of fresh air in the Monday night line up. Too bad it’s only for one week.
