Saturday Night Live alumns Maya Rudolph and Fred Armisen are officially heading to Amazon!

Entertainment Weekly reports that Maya Rudolp and Fred Armisen will officially reunite for a half-hour comedy on the streaming platform.

The upcoming comedy doesn’t have a name yet, but Rudolph and Armisen will both be starring in it. Additionally, the pair will also serve as executive producers on the project alongside Parks and Recreation veterans Alan Yang and Matt Hubbard.

Rudolph and Armisen’s upcoming single camera comedy isn’t the only new series Amazon has ordered.

Just last week we learned that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 director James Gunn had officially signed on to helm Amazon’s Starsky & Hutch revival series. Gunn will be teaming up with Fast & Furious producer Neal Moritz on the upcoming series, which Gunn describes as a continuation of the beloved ’70s buddy cop dramedy.

Additionally, the streaming platform announced on Friday (September 8) that it had also ordered an hour-long drama from House executive producer Paul Attanasio and Hong Kong filmmaker Wong Kar-wai. The forthcoming drama, called Tong Wars, is set in 19th century San Francisco and follows the story of Chinese immigrants who end up butting heads with rival Chinese criminal factions.

Given the recent news surrounding new series coming to Amazon, it definitely seems like the online streaming platform is looking to beef up their content.
