After more than a month of a light release calendar, two of the year’s biggest blockbusters in Diablo III and Max Payne 3 break the streak and put a dent in your wallet.
I can’t decide between the two so my picks of the week are Max Payne 3 and Diablo III. Two of the most beloved developers in Rockstar and Blizzard releasing on the same day is both a blessing and a curse. Fans have waited over a decade for a follow-up to Diablo II and millions will be crawling through dungeons with glee as it finally arrives this week.
Rockstar has owned the month of May the past two years with Red Dead Redemption and L.A. Noire, and looks to continue that trend by taking on the Max Payne franchise. Look for our review later in the week.
To top it all off, Game of Thrones fans get the Atlus published game adaptation.
