The unstoppable duo, Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg, are teaming up for a new World War II miniseries, titled Masters of the Air.

Apple TV+ has found its next likely hit, in Masters of the Air. The miniseries will be executive produced by Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg, EW is reporting.

The pair is no stranger to the genre, having already worked together on Band of Brothers in 2001, and The Pacific in 2010. For Masters of the Air, they will once again be joined by Gary Goetzman, Graham Yost, and John Orloff, who will be writing the series. The miniseries will follow American bombers in World War II, and it will serve as a companion piece to Band of Brothers and The Pacific.

Masters of the Air was originally in development for HBO, which aired The Pacific, but did not make it to production on that platform. The miniseries, which is based on a book by Donald L. Miller of the same name, has now found a home on Apple TV+.

No word yet on who will star in the project, or if Tom Hanks, himself, will play a role onscreen. There is also no release date set for Master of the Air, at this time.

Apple TV+ will launch on November 1, and will cost $4.99/month.
