The next round of DLC for Mass Effect 3, called Leviathan, was revealed today by EA at their Summer Showcase event.

The Leviathan DLC reportedly “expands upon the events of Mass Effect 3″ and allows players to “discover more about the origins of the reapers” and “unravel the mystery that surrounds the fabled Leviathan,” EA said.

EA announced at the showcase the content will launch this summer for PS3, PC and Xbox 360.

Mass Effect 3 has previously received multiplayer focused downloadable content, as well as The Extended Cut of the game’s ending, but Leviathan will be the first single-player DLC for the title.
