Disney dropped a poster and a teaser trailer for Mary Poppins Returns starring Emily Blunt during the 2018 Oscars.
Months ahead of the film’s release, Disney is giving us our first look at the highly anticipated Mary Poppins Returns. First of all, they released this cheeky poster, featuring Emily Blunt as the title character.
These photos featuring Lin-Manuel Miranda’s character and Mary Poppins’ unique brand of magic were also released:
The movie also stars Ben Whishaw, Emily Mortimer, Julie Walters, Colin Firth and Meryl Streep. Mary Poppins Returns is directed by Rob Marshall from a screenplay written by David Magee. It’s based on The Mary Poppins Stories by PL Travers.
The trailer gives us our first look at Lin-Manuel Miranda’s character, Jack, in action, pulling Mary Poppins down from the sky. We still haven’t seen much from this movie, but since it doesn’t come out until Christmas, it’s awesome that we even have this teaser! Check out the fun trailer here:
