It looks like it’s return of the exes on New Girl! Not only will Justin Long be reprising his role of Paul, but now it’s been revealed that Mary Elizabeth Ellis is returning as Nick’s ex, Caroline!
The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Ellis will return to play Caroline for the final three episodes of the season. One of which will be the same episode that Long is appearing in. So what does that mean for the roommates? We know that at the start of the season Nick would break down just at the mention of his ex. And his love life hasn’t gotten any easier since. On the other hand, Jess and Paul had quite the awkward breakup! We’re expecting lots of drama when the exes return.
