For those of you who already powered through Amazon’s The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and just can’t wait for second helpings, the online streaming platform has a treat to tide you over until new episodes of the series begin airing.

On Wednesday (August 15), Amazon Prime officially released a new trailer for the show’s second season. The teaser, which clocks in at just over a minute, is set to the tune of Judy Garland’s “Get Happy,” which seems to be a perfect theme song for everyone’s favorite Upper West Side divorcee, Midge Maisel.

The whirlwind of a teaser features Midge (Rachel Brosnahan), Susie (Alex Borstein), and bunch of other characters we met in the first season of the show in various situations. Through it all, Midge is still continuing on her quest to become a successful stand-up comedian.

The upcoming second season of the series will consist of eight episodes.

Originally when the series was first ordered, Amazon committed to 16 episodes, which means that when season 2 wraps up, the online streaming platform will be faced with the decision of deciding whether or not to bring the show back for a season 3.

All things considered, the future looks bright for Mrs. Maisel, who quickly won fans and critics over alike when the show first premiered last year.

Since then, the series, which comes from the creator of Gilmore Girls, scored two wins at the 2018 Golden Globes, and additionally raked in a whopping nine nods at the 2018 Primetime Emmy Awards.

We’ll be crossing our fingers that when the time comes, Amazon decides to pick the show up for a season 3.

Amazon has yet to announce when the second season will officially hit the internet.
