Ahead of Marvel’s appearances at San Diego Comic Con, Marvel has updated the synopsis for Doctor Strange, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2!

If Marvel is trying to get us even more excited for their appearance at San Diego Comic Con, they’re succeeding. Details on their films are always kept tightly under wraps until the premiere dates draw closer and the updated synopses offer some interesting teases. Could the old foes mentioned in the synopsis of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 be about Nebula?

Meanwhile the synopsis for Doctor Strange remains quite vague. With all of the backlash Marvel has been receiving on this film maybe that’s for the best. If any clips of the film are shown at San Diego Comic Con it should be intriguing to hear how fans react.

The new synopsis for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 is:

“Set to the backdrop of ‘Awesome Mixtape #2,’ Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team’s adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill’s true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes’ aid as the Marvel cinematic universe continues to expand.”

The new synopsis for Doctor Strange is:

“Marvel’s Doctor Strange follows the story of the talented neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange who, after a tragic car accident, must put ego aside and learn the secrets of a hidden world of mysticism and alternate dimensions. Based in New York City’s Greenwich Village, Doctor Strange must act as an intermediary between the real world and what lies beyond, utilizing a vast array of metaphysical abilities and artifacts to protect the Marvel cinematic universe.”

Doctor Strange is set to hit theaters November 4, 2016 while fans have to wait until May 5, 2017 for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2.
