Get ready to see more of Marvel at some of your favorite Disney theme parks around the world!

In a press release revealed on Tuesday, the Walt Disney Company revealed plans to bring Marvel superhero attractions to Disney’s California Adventure, Disneyland Paris, and Hong Kong Disneyland in 2020.

The new attractions have been developed in partnership with Marvel Studios and Marvel Themed Entertainment and are set to feature some of your favorite characters from Marvel entities.

At Disneyland Resort’s California Adventure specifically, the plan is to use the newly launched Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission: BREAKOUT! attraction (which recently replaced the Hollywood Tower of Terror) as a center point for the new Marvel presence at the theme park.

As part of the plan for the upcoming Marvel themed areas, Disney is promising visitors a “completely immersive Super Hero universe.”

As exciting as news of the Marvel expansion is, it also comes with a bittersweet catch.

To make space for the new Marvel attraction, California adventure is planning to close it’s Bug’s Land area, beginning with the “It’s Tough To Be A Bug” attraction which closed earlier this month on March 19.

Meanwhile, both Disneyland Paris and Hong Kong Disneyland are gearing up to bring parkgoers all new attractions centered around a few notable superheroes.

First up, Disneyland Paris is planning a new ride which will allow you to team up with Iron Man and a few other Avengers as you take a “hyper-kinetic adventure.”

Over in Hong Kong, a new attraction featuring Ant-Man ad the Wasp will allow riders to team up with the duo as part of their new Marvel expansion.

In addition to the big news, the Walt Disney Company also revealed three new teaser posters promoting the new Marvel presence at each park. Check them out in a new teaser trailer for the new Marvel experiences below!
