It’s finally here, folks! The full trailer for the final season of Marvel’s Jessica Jones is live, and it looks SO badass!

We are about to embark on our final adventure with Jessica Jones. Netflix has been doling out tiny teasers for some time now, but we finally get a full look at the final season in the new trailer.

Jessica Jones is no stranger to powerful, creative-yet-horrifying bad guys. While we might have thought nothing could ever top Kilgrave, this season’s big bad might give him a bit of a run for his money.

This season, Jessica is facing off against Gregory Salinger. Salinger is taking Jessica to task for her…unorthodox manner of doling out vigilante justice.

Though she has done a lot of good, no one can argue that Jessica is brutal and can often bend morality a bit to catch bad guys. Because of this and his own skewed sense of right and wrong, Salinger wants Jessica to die.

Fans of the comics might recognize the name Gregory Salinger. In the comics world, he’s also known as “Foolkiller,” a villain from the Defenders universe.

While he’s not a major baddie in the comics, it looks like Salinger is going to be quite the force to be reckoned with. Not only is he an intelligent criminal mastermind, but he seems to be pretty great at manipulating people to his cause, like one Jeri Hogarth.

But the introduction of Salinger/Foolkiller isn’t the only exciting nod to the comics coming this season. Trish is also out to take back the streets of New York from evil, despite Jessica’s opposition to the idea.

The show has been teasing Trish’s arc as a hero for some time, and this season we get our first real look at her coming into her comic book legacy. In the comics she’s known as Hellcat, and we see Jessica even make fun of Trish’s vigilante proclivities calling her “Super Cat Burglar.” It’s unlikely that she’ll ever use the moniker Hellcat on the show, but this feels like a pretty intentional wink to Trish’s comic book origins.

Season 3 of Jessica Jones is going to be utterly amazing. Introducing a new villain, exploring Trish’s Hellcat arc a bit more, and really diving into the idea of what makes a hero, it seems like the show is going to go out on quite the high note.

You can join in on the adventure when the final season of Jessica Jones premieres only on Netflix on June 14.
