Back in 2013 Marvel announced that the company would be taking a theme park attraction around the U.S. in 2014. Now we have our first image of what the dome-like theme park could potentially look like.

Featuring an incredibly large dome, Disney plans to take guests through “an array of interactive games and original animated short films.”

The giant dome featured below in the first piece of concept art shows many of Marvel’s most popular superheroes, but we’re curious how many (if any) will be involved in the roadshow.

Fans may also notice that S.H.I.E.L.D. looks to also have a presence at the show and this could mean we could see actors from their Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. TV show. Which is much more likely than seeing any of the actors from Marvel’s massive blockbuster films.

According to The Verge, the dome complex will span across two acres and is planned to be as high as sixty feet in the air. Marvel is proud to promote the fact that this will be the first time something of this size will be turned into a mobile roadshow.

Marvel Experience is a partnership with an LA-based entertainment company called Hero Ventures. In addition to something Marvel are calling “the first – ever traveling motion-based ride,” fans who attend the attraction will be able to interact directly with multiple Marvel superheroes and S.H.I.E.L.D. officers.

Marvel has yet to release exact tour dates, but they say that the domes will be erected in multiple cities around the U.S. and Canada this spring for weeks at a time.

Plan on checking out Marvel’s superhero experience if it comes to your city this spring?
