Marvel has released a hilariously tiny video which reveals that the release date for Ant-Man’s first trailer has been set for January 6, during the premiere of Agent Carter.

Update: Marvel release a human-sized Ant-Man trailer teaser

Marvel announced last night that the second Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer will premiere on January 12, at 8:30 p.m. EST during the College Football Championship. Now they’ve released a trailer teaser that reveals Ant-Man’s trailer release date. The catch is you’d have to be the size of Ant-Man to actually watch any of the footage. Squint your eyes and give it a shot below:

It’s nearly impossible to see any of the footage, which is actually a pretty fun gag for a film about a pint-sized superhero. This is the first footage from Ant-Man that has been released, so it’s even funnier that we can’t actually see the teaser.

But this now confirms that during Agent Carter’s premiere on January 6, Marvel will release the first official trailer for Ant-Man, which will finally give us an actual look at the unique superhero film starring Paul Rudd.

Normally this would just be annoying, due to the fact that fans have been ready to see Ant-Man footage for quite some time, but we’re liking that Marvel is having some fun with the release of the film’s first trailer. Ant-Man is a major wildcard for the studio, and we imagine they’ll be looking for other ways to successfully promote this film as it heads towards its July 17 release date.

Some official concept art was released by Marvel recently which gave us our first look at Yellowjacket, which will reportedly be the film’s villain, and it looked promising. We look forward to seeing Ant-Man’s first trailer when it’s released during Agent Carter’s premiere on January 6.
