An interesting shake-up has occurred on The Hunger Games soundtrack. Earlier this week the full list of songs and artists was revealed, but today iTunes has updated their page with quite a few changes.

The biggest adjustment: Ella Mae Bowen is out, and Maroon 5 is in.

Maroon 5 is contributing a song called Come Away, and they are one of the biggest artists to be a part of the project.

But that wasn’t the only change. A series of minor adjust have appeared, as noted by The Hob:

The Carolina Chocolate Drops song has changed from “Reaping Day” to “The Daughter’s Lament.” iTunes also switched “Kingdom Come” artist from The Civil Wars to Neko Case (though we assume that’s just a typo since The Civil Wars have said they have two tracks on the Soundtrack). Neko Case’s other song has also had a slight title change, from “Give Me Something I’ll Remember” to “Nothing to Remember.” They also removed the video for Taylor Swift’s “Safe & Sound” from the album.

It’s so strange to us how many changes the soundtrack went through following its public reveal. We figure iTunes did not have the most up to date version of the compilation.
