Mark Wahlberg and Kevin Hart are teaming for an all new comedy over at Netflix.

According to Deadline, actors Mark Wahlberg has officially signed on to star opposite Kevin Hart in the forthcoming Netflix Original feature, Me Time.

Described as a comedy, the upcoming movie is set to center on a stay at home father who suddenly finds himself with some time for himself for the first time in years when the wife and kids are away.

In an effort to make the most of his freedom, he reconnects with his former best friend. Together, the pair embark on a wild weekend that might end up being more trouble than it’s worth.

For Me Time, Kevin Hart is set to play the stay at home dad in question while Mark Wahlberg will take on the role of his estranged best friend.

Behind the camera, the movie is set to be both written and directed by John Hamburg.

Me Time serves as a bit of a reunion for Hart and Hamburg specifically. The two previously worked together on 2018’s Night School, which Hamburg also penned the script for.

As for Hart and Wahlberg, Me Time will mark the first time the actors share the screen together.

Both are no strangers to Netflix. Hart recently starred in the streamer’s single dad drama, Fatherhood. Meanwhile, Wahlberg starred in the streamer’s action comedy Spenser Confidential. Both films are currently available to stream via Netflix.

Currently, there’s no word on when we might expect to see Me Time starring Mark Wahlberg and Kevin Hart hit Netflix.
