Mariah Carey will soon be spreading the Christmas cheer over at Apple TV+!
According to Deadline, pop star Mariah Carey is getting her very own Christmas special at Apple!
Titled Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special, the newly minted streaming service is set to debut the pop star’s special just in time for the 25th anniversary of Carey’s holiday hit, “All I Want For Christmas Is You.”
The Queen of Christmas took to Twitter to share the good news with fans far and wide shortly after the news broke.
“If you know me, you know I refuse to talk about Christmas before it’s even fall,” tweeted Carey. “But I am SO excited for this @AppleTV special that I’ll make an exception today only!”

So what can we expect from Carey’s Christmas Special? The Apple original is being described as an “innovative special” that will blend music, dancing, and animation together. The entire affair will be “driven by a universally heartwarming story that brings the world together.”
Carey of course, is set to appear in the forthcoming special. Also set to be featured is a star-studded lineup of surprise guests, although currently, there’s no word on who will be joining the powerhouse vocalist in bringing the yuletide cheer.
Behind the scenes, the special is set to be helmed by Hamish Hamilton and Moonrise Kingdom and Mozart in the Jungle vet, Roman Coppola. Producing alongside Carey herself are Ian Stewart, Raj Kapoor, and Ashley Edens.
