Get ready to experience Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You” in a whole new way!
It might be too early to be thinking about Christmas, but that hasn’t stopped everyone’s favorite diva, Mariah Carey, from sharing a pretty exciting surprise for all of us who just can’t get enough of her iconic holiday hit.
In case you missed it, back in March we learned that Carey was set to participate in a holiday film based solely on her Christmas hit, “All I Want For Christmas Is You.”
Though Carey didn’t let many details slip with regards to what we can expect from the animated film, she did take to Instagram to let fans know what working on the project means to her.
In a lengthy post, the singer said she was excited to “bring the story of [her] favorite Christmas song to new generations of families.”
Now, Carey is giving fans another little sneak peek as to what we can expect when the “All I Want For Christmas Is You” movie premieres.
Carey took to Instagram yet again, this time to share a photo of her animated counterpart who will serve as the star of the upcoming movie.
“Meet Little Mariah! It was a dream come true helping to create this character in my upcoming animated movie,” wrote Carey. “Stay tuned…I’ve got a surprise coming your way soon! #ALLIWANTMOVIE @AllIWantMovie”

In the new image, we see Carey’s Mariah dressed for the chilly weather in a blue parka with a matching hat. By her side is a cute little pup made out of snow.
Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You” movie is set to premiere sometime this 2017 Holiday season.
