Mandy Moore has been cast as the lead in a new show on ABC, titled Us and Them. The network gave the single-camera comedy a pilot commitment earlier this week.

The Hollywood Reporter has an exclusive description of the new show:

The family comedy explores the inherent conflict that exists between the families you grow up in and the ones we make as adults and is told through from the perspective of Annie (Moore) and Ben, a young, newlywed couple.

Night at the Museum’s Shawn Levy is directing and exec producing along with producer Jon Leshay, who worked as the music supervisor on Moore’s Saved, How to Deal and A Walk to Remember films.
