In an interview from the Man of Steel world premiere, writer David S. Goyer says that other superheroes do exist in Zack Snyder’s reimagining of Superman. Does this mean they always intended on moving toward a Justice League storyline?

Man of Steel’s writer, David S. Goyer, has been letting loose some great details from the Superman reboot, and MTV caught up with him during the red carpet interviews at last night’s world premiere where he mentioned some interesting information concerning the possible future of Justice League. Watch the interview of Man of Steel‘s writer below:

While it certainly seems that no one is quite sure about a future Justice League film, the crew behind Man of Steel were very aware of including some Easter eggs in the Superman reboot which could point towards a Justice League film. Having a satellite with Wayne Enterprises on the side, along with a building named after notorious villain Lex Luther, let’s us know that the filmmakers made a concious decision to include things that superhero fans would catch if they looked close enough.

Man of Steel officially hits theaters this Friday, and we look forward to keeping our eye out for any Easter eggs that may point towards director Zack Snyder and writer David S. Goyer moving on from their Man of Steel sequel to other DC universe films. We do know that it’s been reported that Man of Steel director and writer David S. Goyer are already working on a Man of Steel sequel, and Snyder said that he had always intended on fleshing out Superman’s story in sequels before he would be willing to work on a Justice League film.

It certainly appears as though Warner Bros. has chosen their golden boy in Snyder, and if Man of Steel rakes in at the box office this weekend, we imagine we’ll be hearing a lot more about the future of DC superheroes making their way into the Man of Steel sequel.

Have you picked up your tickets for ‘Man of Steel’ in IMAX this weekend?
