Maisie Williams took matters into her own hands when her clothing made headlines instead of her charitable work.

The actress, who stars as Arya Stark on Game of Thrones, recently attended a masquerade ball for the U.K.’s National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children. Williams has been involved in promoting the NSPCC and the fundraising ball for several weeks, and helped the organization raise funds through her participation.

But when the DailyMail covered the event, they were more concerned with Williams’ outfit than her achievements. Instead, the article headline observed that Williams, who recently turned 19, was not wearing a bra beneath the white lace dress she wore to the masquerade.

Never one to soften her words on social media, Williams took to Twitter to change the narrative — and point out what was really important about her participation in the NSPCC event.

The article in question focuses almost exclusively on William’s “daring” sartorial decisions. Only a photo caption at the bottom of the piece mentions what cause the event was held to benefit, or why Williams was in attendance.

Maisie Williams has spoken out strongly in support of feminist issues in the past, and clearly this is no exception. But the NSPCC, at least, tweeted their thanks and support to the actress — and didn’t bother to mention her clothing.

Game of Thrones 6×08, “No One,” airs on Sunday, June 12 at 9:00 p.m. on HBO.
